Irvine, CA, August 6, 2026 (Reuters) -- Tarsus Pharmaceuticals has agreed to acquire Alkeus Pharmaceuticals in a transaction valued at up to $800 million. The deal gives Tarsus access to an investigational therapy targeting Stargardt disease, an inherited retinal disorder with no approved treatment. The acquisition broadens Tarsus’ ophthalmology pipeline and supports its strategy of developing therapies for underserved eye diseases.
