Barcelona, Spain and Marin, CA, September 23, 2026 (Globe Newswire) -- Anaconda Biomed has closed a $56 million financing round led by Omega Funds, with participation from new investor Spain’s Co-investment Fund (FOCO) and existing backers including Asabys, Ysios Capital and CDTI. The company will use the proceeds to advance its neurovascular device portfolio and complete the ongoing ATHENA pivotal IDE study evaluating its ANA Funnel Catheter in a randomized 327-patient trial. The financing will also support product development and regulatory efforts aimed at expanding the company’s Funnel Catheter platform for stroke treatment globally.
