Oligomerix Names Cara Cassino as Interim CEO to Lead Next Stage of Alzheimer’s Drug Development

Bronx, NY, August 31, 2026 (Business Wire) -- Oligomerix has appointed biopharmaceutical veteran Cara Cassino, M.D., as Interim President and CEO as the company transitions from discovery research into clinical-stage development. Cassino brings 25 years of drug development and commercialization experience across major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including leadership roles at Pfizer, Boehringer Ingelheim and Forest Laboratories. She will lead the advancement of OLX-07010, the company’s lead oral Alzheimer’s disease candidate, following the successful completion of its Phase 1a study.
