ONO Pharmaceutical to Acquire Deciphera Pharmaceuticals in $2.4B Deal

Waltham, MA and Osaka, Japan, April 29, 2024 (PRNewswire) -- ONO Pharmaceutical, Co., Ltd., and Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, Inc., have announced a definitive merger agreement on April 29, 2024. Under the agreement, ONO will acquire all outstanding shares of Deciphera common stock for $25.60 per share in cash through a tender offer followed by a merger, with Deciphera surviving as a wholly owned subsidiary of ONO. The Acquisition, valued at approximately $2.4 billion, represents a significant premium to Deciphera's recent share prices and has been unanimously approved by both companies' Boards of Directors.
