Indianapolis and New York, July 16, 2026 (PR Newswire) -- Eli Lilly and Company has agreed to acquire Atai Beckley in a deal worth up to $1.6 billion. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Lilly’s pipeline of therapies for treatment-resistant depression and other mental health disorders by adding novel neuropsychiatric programs. The transaction supports Lilly’s strategy to expand its neuroscience portfolio with innovative treatments for patients with significant unmet needs.
